Work for the Government? Heck yeah if it's for the Patent and Trademark Office!

Working for the govenment, or "G," as my criminal law professor used to call it, often times gets a bad rap. But working for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) apparently is anything but bad. The 2014 lists indicate that the number two large agency overall to work for is the department of commerce which houses the USPTO. The agency subcomponents list shows the same results: the patent and trademark office is in the number two position of all top government offices to work in. That's some pretty encouraging news!
In addition to this, the USPTO named Michelle Lee director of its office this past year. Ms. Lee has done nothing short of energize the office and patent practitioners. She was recently awarded the NAPABA 2015 Women's Leadership Award. She is quoted as saying that "Curiosity, not gender, drives innovation."
