iPhone 6s: Is it Worth it?

So yesterday I took my mom to AT&T so that I could---I mean so that SHE---could look at the new iPhones and take advantage of her upgrade. Unfortunately, I'll still have plenty of quality one-on-one time with my iPhone 5s until (CRINGE!) next July (insert crying-face emoji). My mom has been enjoying taking lots of iPhone 4 photos of her three cats and sending them to me via ichat messages for quite some time now. She has learned to LOVE, and I mean LOVE that phone. The sad thing is that the power switch is stuck and no longer allows her to turn the device off manually. She was reluctant to switch over to her new phone and decided to continue texting on the 4 after she returned home yesterday. The texts failed to send. Her new iPhone 6 works perfectly, though. Yes, she decided on the i6 with simple gunmetal backing and black faceplate. She initially wanted to trade in her old phone for another i4. Ahem. No. They don't sell 4's anymore, mom. So she was forced to consider something new. She chose the 6 with some help from me. Oh yeah, and also, 6s isn't out until the 25th--two days from now.
I was like a kid in a candy shop. Shiny, pretty, delectable little hand-held devices everywhere! My mom, however, was timid, reluctant, and...dare I say...afraid of these contraptions. See, my mom finds new tech, especially anything that has a form of computer attached to it, scary. We made our way past the 5s's, though, and straight to the 6's. There it was: the brand-spanking-new iPhone 6s! Lovely, larger than the 6 it sat next to, but thin and full of rich screen color resolution. I started asking the sales guy a lot of questions. One of the most pertinent, in my mind, is whether there were any real changes to the phone--besides the rose gold option that I blogged about a couple weeks ago. The answer is yes. The photo quality is incredible. MUCH better than my sad little 5s. The new touch options are really cool, too. You can barely tap an app icon and get a list of quick options. Hold the tap slightly longer and you can open the app. In addition, there is 4k video. These options alone make the new 6s stand out and worth it. So, in my opinion, yes, iPhone 6s is worth it. And, by the way, if you haven't already ordered it, the rose gold edition is back ordered about 40 days.
